"I have a less than 50% partial rotator cuff tear due to work injury. Surgery was not recommended. I was out for 8 months and still healing. My job requires heavy lifting for about 6 hours daily and it does help secure the shoulder from heavy lifting. So far, I only get minimal pain on my shoulder and moderate pain on my shoulder blade after working for 8 hrs but i am not sure if it is just how my injury is. I am a 145 lb girl, i wear size S, & it feels comfortable and snug. I unstrap it to once in a while to let my armpit rest from rubbing against the strap. This strap gives me peace of mind."
