Using your shoulder sleeve has made my left arm 80-90% usable. But the head of my humerus MUST fit between the two gell pads. When the brace is on properly it's a blessing. "I was skeptical about this shoulder brace at first as I wanted to use it for a rock climbing trip. Up until now, I’ve been struggling with any form of training or climbing however this brace was game changer. It gave relief and compensated for my shoulder injury completely for several long days of wearing the brace 6-12hrs. I hadn’t seen any reviews relating to this kind of use as it seems more aimed towards contact sports but I’m very happy with what it’s enabled. The plan is to stop using it however while i’m focusing my rehab, it’s a good tool to carry on with things that would otherwise aggravate my injury whilst still giving my shoulder some dynamic stimulus. I would wear a vest underneath to prevent the strap rubbing after long days wearing it uninterrupted however I don’t think this was entirely necessary. I also took the cushioning pad out as I didn’t need any impact protection. For extra context, my shoulder injury(ies) are mostly linked to distal bicep tendinopathy and at this point I’m roughly 2 months into rehab and recovery."
"NRL is a brutal sport on the body, especially the shoulders. I was very sceptical about the brace but decided to try it due to my skin constantly having a reaction with strapping tape. This brace offered so much more freedom without compromising the support I needed. The gel pad worked a treat and I barely felt a thing. I wore this on my right shoulder and nothing on my left. My left shoulder looks bruised as buggery and the rights like I never played at all. (I’ll need one for both I think) The customer service here is equally as good as the product!!! I ordered the wrong size and the team swapped it out no questions asked. Legends!"
